FAQ's
1. What are the rider requirements for Segways?

Most people find Segways easy to master after tuition from our experienced instructors and the opportunity to practice in our specifically designed area. The minimum age to ride is 10, and there is no upper age limit. The minimum weight requirement is 40kg. Maximum weight 120kg. Riders under 16 must be accompanied on the Segway adventure by a responsible adult.

2. What if the weather is bad?

In Scotland, there is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing! We will run in all weathers unless deemed unsafe. If this is the case then the instructor will make the decision to cancel on the morning of your booked activity.

3. What is the cancelation policy?

4. Can I buy gift vouchers?

Absolutely! You can buy gift vouchers here through the website or you can give us a call or email for more information/to book. Gift vouchers will also be available to buy at the meet and greet hut on site.

5. Are our activities safe?

Your instructor will provide you with all you need to know and as long as you follow their instruction then your chosen activity/activities will be perfectly safe. Please ensure you are giving the instructor your full attention at the safety brief and operating demonstration.

6. Do I need previous experience?

Definitely not. All our activities are designed to allow any level of experience to take part. Our instructors will guide you through everything you need to know while making sure you have fun!

7. Can I come and watch?

You are more than welcome to watch from the meet and greet area where there is outdoor seating. If you are not taking part in the activity then you will be unable to enter the activity zone for safety reasons.

9. Can I take photos/videos?

Absolutely. For Segway adventures, we ask that photos etc. are taken when we make designated stops (there will be plenty of opportunities) so as not to disrupt the trip for others, and for safety reasons. Action cameras and other video recording devices are allowed on the Segway tour providing they are attached to a chest strap. They are not permitted to be attached to helmets. Holding anything in your hand while operating the Segway is not allowed as both hands must be fully on the handle bars at all times.
