Booking and cancellation

Payment is required to secure a booking unless otherwise agreed with Wild Highland Outdoor Centre.

If you Cancel your trip more then 7 days before its date then you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel between 48hrs – 7 days before your trip then you will receive a 90% refund. Cancelling within 48hrs of your trip will result in no refund. *In special circumstances these might be changed, however this is at the discretion of a Director of Wild Highland Outdoor Centre LTD.

If Wild Highland Outdoor Centre ltd has to cancel a session due to weather or other circumstances then a full refund will be given and every effort will be made to offer alternative dates for rebooking or alternative options on the same day. We take no responsibly for accommodation, travel or other costs incurred as a result.

Only 1 discount code can be used per booking.
General Terms

Please be aware and understand that all our activities carry an inherent danger. We make every reasonable effort to reduce risk through regular reviews, risk assessments and staff training but we cannot completely remove all risks and dangers.

The instructor has the right to terminate a session at any point with no prior warning if they believe there is a risk or danger to persons or property due to inappropriate behavior by any member of the group. In this case no refund of any type will be given and the trip will not be rescheduled.

If the instructor makes the decision to terminate the session due to weather or ground conditions then a full refund will be given.

Wild Highland Outdoor Centre has public Liability Insurance NOT personal accident cover. Our Activities can be dangerous.

Exclusion of liability – Wild Highland Outdoor Centre will not be liable for any death or personal injury of the client, recipient or third party unless it was due to the negligence of Wild Highland Outdoor Centre. Wild Highland Outdoor Centre shall not be liable for damage to property, consequential losses or expenses suffered, which includes but not limited to the loss of anticipated earnings, profits, goodwill, reputation, business, receipts or contacts, losses or expenses resulting from 3rd party claims. Wild Highland Outdoor Centre is not liable for damages to vehicles on site.

You agree to look after and respect the facilities, equipment and staff.

That you are NOT under the influence of alcohol, drugs or anything else that could compromise your decision making or reaction time.

Any damage to equipment or facilities due to neglect or misuse will be charged at full retail rate.

You should make the instructor aware before your session of any medical conditions that could be relevant or helpful.

You will observe and follow all instructions given before, during and after the session by the instructor.

Wild Highland Outdoor Centre LTD takes no responsibility for loss or damage to any electronic devices, vehicles or valuables.

Your trip will start with a safety talk, activity brief and where appropriate familiarization of the equipment, close attention should be paid to everything the instructor is telling you.

All under 18s must be signed for by an over 18. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied on the trip by an over 18.

In an unplanned event please wait in a safe place and let the instructor deal with the situation. Wild Highland Outdoor Centre LTD can take no responsibility for injury caused by participants assisting or getting involved in an unplanned event.
Segway
​

You are Above 45kg and below 125kg (If in doute Wild Highland Outdoor Centre will check before the trip starts.

Above the age of 10 years old.

No medical problems restricting your ability to control the segway safely or medical problems that could become worst by partaking. If in doubt you should check with your GP before signing up.

You are not pregnant.

You will wear the safety gear provided at all times and not adjust it during the trip without permission from the instructor.

You must be able to stand for the duration of the trip without assistance and step up onto the Segway (20cm) without assistance.

You understand there is no set route on your tour, the instructor on the session will train and assess all participants throughout the session and make a decision on the best route.

No electronic devices should be used while riding the Segway. Action cameras can be set up on the Segway’s but should be only be turned on/ off and adjusted while stationary. Action cameras cannot be mounted to Helmets.

The tour will take place on an active farm, therefore machinery and animals may be encountered so care should be taken at all times.

We highly advice the use of gloves on the tour, if you choice not to wear the gloves provided you do so at your own risk.

You must bring your own suitable footwear that is closed toes with a grippy sole
Target Sports

Above the age of 6 years old for Archery as a stand alone activity and above the age of 8 for Axe and Spear throwing.

All safety equipment will be provided before the start of your Activity and this must be worn when taking part. If for any reason there is a problem with your equipment please info your instructor as soon as safely possible.

Above the age of 16 years old.

Closed toes shoes must be worn.

All safety equipment will be provided before the start of your Activity and this must be worn when taking part. If for any reason there is a problem with your equipment please info your instructor as soon as safely possible.

Highland Games
​
